The Naromiyocknowhusunkatankshunk Brook, often shortened to the Naromi Brook, means “water flowing from the hills.” This picturesque cold-water stream meanders through these preserves of mixed hardwood forests. It is a quiet and beautiful walk, crossing the brook on footbridges or stepping stones in several places. The brook is open to fishing in accordance with CT State fishing regulations, offering angling opportunities for all ages. The trail also explores the hillsides of this property, making for a lovely loop trail through forests and along the river corridor.
