Spring Story Walk at Mallory Preserve

Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy (NCLC) and The Sherman Library have joined forces for a spring Story Walk! Stroll through the Mallory Preserve and enjoy the delightful children’s book The Everything Trail by Meg Fleming. This is a self-guided adventure that brings the joy of a good story to the trails. No registration is required. Enjoy until May 8.

The Mallory Preserve trailhead is located at the Sherman Town Green, Rte. 39 N (IGA Plaza) in Sherman, Connecticut.

What is a Story Walk? A story walk places pages of a children’s book along a popular walking trail in the community. They are a way to encourage a love of reading and a wonderful way for families to spend time outside together.

 

NCLC events are free and open to the public, thanks to the generous support of our members—thank you for helping us keep nature accessible to all.
