Get Involved
Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy permanently protects 13,400 acres (and growing) in 17 communities in Litchfield and Fairfield Counties. We could not do our work without your support. Your contributions and volunteer support provide essential resources for our stewardship, education, and acquisition programming. There are several ways that you can help:
Volunteer
Volunteering allows you to pursue your passion while contributing to a cause that’s important to you. There are many ways to volunteer at NCLC, from office-based projects to tabling events to trail maintenance at an NCLC preserve.
An ongoing opportunity includes our Volunteer Trail Crew Days. On select Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., join us and lend a hand on a trail at an NCLC public nature preserve.
- April 25, 2025 – at The Ledges (Brookfield), in preparation for its grand opening.

Land Protection
