Frog Frolic at Towner Hill

Do you love the sound of spring peepers and wood frogs? Then this is the hike for you. Join NCLC and celebrate the arrival of spring with hike to the vernal pools at Towner Hill. Space is limited, so please email events@ctland.org to save your spot today.

Where: Towner Hill Preserve, 46 CT-37 E, Sherman, CT 06784
Parking: White Silo Winery, 32 Rt. 37 East, Sherman, CT 06784. We will shuttle hikers to the trailhead.

Details: The hike begins with a walk up a steep hill and then levels out to a gently rolling trail. We will go off-trail to get closer to the vernal pool. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes that are sturdy and comfortable for walking over uneven ground. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight. For this hike please leave dogs at home.
