Etuaptmumk: Two-Eyed Seeing Presented by IAIS

Get ready to see the world in a new light! Immerse yourself in the beauty and rich cultural history of our region with NCLC and the Institute for American Indian Studies (IAIS).

NCLC is delighted to present IAIS Education Coordinator and Traditional Storyteller Darlene Kascak, Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, for a special program called Etuaptmumk, a Mi’kmaw saying that translates to “Two – Eyed Seeing.”

Join us for a fascinating presentation on how to see from one eye the strengths of Indigenous knowledge, and from the other eye the strengths of Western knowledge. Discover how “Two- Eyed Seeing” can enhance your time in nature and help spark creativity and collaboration.
