Environmental Research Symposium

Join NCLC’s public lands manager, Tara Spears, and other Connecticut scientists for an evening of discovery and discussion. Presented by Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust and The Taft School, the Environmental Research Symposium will bring together scientists doing research in whole or in part on land trust properties in Litchfield, Middlebury, Roxbury, and Woodbury. Each speaker will give high-level briefs on their ongoing environmental work and its implications. Attendees will gain a greater understanding about what is changing in our natural environment here in Connecticut. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity to meet the scientists and ask further questions.
