Summer Story Walk at Mallory Preserve

Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy and The Sherman Library have joined forces for a summer Story Walk! Stroll through the Mallory Preserve and enjoy “Look,” a terrific children’s book about finding patterns in nature by Gabi Snyder. This is a self-guided adventure that brings the joy of a good story to the trails. No registration is required. Enjoy until August 15.

The Mallory Preserve trailhead is located at the Sherman Town Green, Rte. 39 N (IGA Plaza) in Sherman, Connecticut.

What is a Story Walk? A story walk places pages of a children’s book along a popular walking trail in the community. They are a way to encourage a love of reading and a wonderful way for families to spend time outside together.
