For nature lovers and trail explorers alike! Discover Sherman’s many miles of walking trails during an inspiring evening at The Sherman Library devoted to local hiking opportunities. Learn about several favorite trails, with highlights from local conservation organizations on what makes these walks special—from peaceful woodland paths to scenic views and hidden natural gems. Whether you are searching for a new weekend hike or simply want to get to know the area’s conserved lands more deeply, you will leave with fresh ideas for your next outdoor adventure.

Co-hosted by Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy (NCLC), The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Deer Pond Farm, Great Hollow Nature Preserve, the Sherman Conservation Commission, and The Sherman Library. Registration is required.
