Come and learn about the fish communities and recreational fishing opportunities in Sherman. Have you ever wondered what all those little fish are in the pool below the bridge, or why Candlewood Lake is being stocked with “Grass Carp,” or where you can bring a child to have their first successful fishing experience, or where, when, and why the State stocks trout? Bring your own questions and discover the answers and much more at this presentation by Michael Humphreys—a lifelong Sherman resident, who worked as a State Fisheries Biologist for CT DEEP for 32 years, and is a member of Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy’s Naromi Advisory Council.
